Management Team
The Transactis management team is comprised of veterans with expertise in creating
innovative billing and payment solutions for large billers in the financial services,
telecommunications, health care, and utility industries. With rich experience in
both the standard and electronic billing world, the Transactis team has built a
company that is transforming the Electronic Billing Payment and Presentment (EBPP)
industry.
Transactis has created new opportunity for billers and has given consumers and small
to mid-sized billers the value they've long been waiting for from EBPP products
- convenience, confidence and ease of use.
Joe Proto
Chief Executive Officer/Chairman of the Board
Joe became Chairman/CEO of Transactis in 2007, a leading provider of EBPP and email billing services delivered through major banks to the middle-market. He has been in the billing and payments industry for nearly 3 decades serving many of the country's largest corporations and financial institutions at two firms he started. Prior to Transactis, Joe launched REMITCO, a remittance processing company which he grew to 1 billion payments a year and was acquired in 2000 by First Data. Prior to REMITCO/First Data, Joe was a founder of Financial Telesis (CashFlex) which was acquired in 1992 by CoreStates, now part of Wells Fargo. Joe is a board member/advisor to leading firms and investment companies in the electronic transaction processing industry including: OfferIQ, Data Impact, Zodah, Windham Ventures and Metamorphic Ventures. Joe is a member of various financial services associations and has been a frequent speaker at conferences in the payments industry.

Bill Morrison
Chief Information Officer
Mr.
Morrison leads Transactis' software and technology delivery teams. He joined the
company in 2007 and brings over twenty years of IT management experience. Prior
to joining Transactis, Mr. Morrison worked for First Data in the Payments Services
Division, responsible for all IT delivery of new products, boarding new clients
and supporting operations. Before that, Mr. Morrison was at Citibank, responsible
for the project management office of the bank's credit card division managing enterprise
wide technology initiatives. He started his career with The Associates Corporation
in 1985 which was later acquired by Citibank.

Charles (Chuck) Kelso
Chief Operating Officer
Mr.
Kelso joined Transactis in early 2008 as the Chief Operating Officer responsible
for overall service delivery including quality control, planning, organizational
development and client satisfaction. He is a twenty year veteran of the financial
services industry where he has held numerous senior leadership positions in operations
with JP Morgan Chase and U.S Bank. Prior to joining Transactis, Mr. Kelso was vice
president of the Government Business Process Outsourcing practice at First Data
and directed the successful implementation of the world's largest child support
payment processing operation for the State of California. He was also the co-founder
and chief information officer of a remittance and imaging company in Charlotte,
N.C., which was acquired by Symcor in 2005.

Eric Fox
Vice President, Strategic Business Development
Mr.
Fox leads Transactis' strategic business development and account management efforts.
Previously, Mr. Fox was with Capital One, most recently as the general manager of
the Payment Networks and Co-Brands division managing all aspects of the company's
partnerships with MasterCard and Visa. In this role he had responsibility for over
$1.5 billion in annual interchange revenues and responsibility for all major retail
co-branded card partnerships. Mr. Fox was also Capital One's representative on the
Electronic Check Council at NACHA. During the early part of his career at Capital
One, Mr. Fox developed and launched the Capital One Bill Center and The Capital
One Account Center and, as the company's Internet product and business development
manager, was responsible for evaluating Capital One’s partnership opportunities
with emerging companies.

Bil Manes
Vice President, Business Development
Mr.
Manes works with targeted accounts and strategic resellers to offer the company’s
secure email billing solution, BillMail® – the patent-pending solution
that allows consumers to view and pay their bills securely from within an email.
Mr. Manes has 30 years of experience in delivering technology based solutions, and
has been responsible for business development, relationship management, professional
services and customer support. Prior to joining Transactis, Mr. Manes held positions
with various companies including Online Resources (ORCC), Princeton eCom, BillServ,
and Pitney Bowes. Most recently, with ORCC, he was Senior Strategic Development
Executive, responsible for developing channel relationships for its eCommerce Division.

Mike Byrnes
Director, Production Support and BillerExpress™ Implementations
Mr. Byrnes brings over thirty years of management experience to the Transactis project
management office (PMO). Prior to joining Transactis, Mr. Byrnes was Director of
First Data’s payment services PMO responsible for Operations support. Mr. Byrnes
joined First Data as part of REMITCO's acquisition of the Wachovia (now Wells Fargo
Bank) retail lockbox operations where he served in various lockbox operations and
support leadership roles. Prior to First Data, Mr. Byrnes worked in the hospitality
industry where he founded and later sold Celebration Foods. Mr. Byrnes started his
career with Marriott Hotels.

Jay French
Director, Account Management
Mr.
French serves as Transactis' Director of Account Management. Prior to Transactis,
Mr. French was a founder and executive vice president of eDeposit.com, a full-service,
online financial services company created in 1999 to minimize fraud during online
transactions. The company owned the proprietary and patented process that enabled
the electronic "hold" and "hold release" of funds over the Internet. He was also
a founder and former chief operating officer of Bid4Assets, Inc., recognized by
CIO magazine as one of the top 100 Internet companies and "Best Business Idea" by
the Washington Business Journal in 2001. Mr. French also spent seven years as chief
operating officer of USA Companies, an investment and management company overseeing
the management of hotels, real estate and medical facilities in the Mid-Atlantic
region. During Mr. French's tenure, the USA Companies experienced consistent revenue
and profit growth. Prior to USA Companies, Mr. French was an international trade
and marketing consultant in China and Romania. He also served as the representative
to the Small Business Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman
Bill Zeliff and was on the staff of former Senator William Cohen.

John Mottola
Information Security Officer and Compliance Manager
Mr.
Mottola is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure as well as compliance
for Transactis. Prior to joining Transactis, Mr. Mottola held the position of information
security officer and IT compliance for REMITCO, the remittance processing division
of First Data. His responsibilities included managing all industry and client audits,
developing and implementing policies and procedures consistent with industry best
practices, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, as well as the overall security
infrastructure for the business unit. Before attaining the position of information
security officer, Mr. Mottola worked in several different roles including support,
development, and system administration. While at First Data, Mr. Mottola obtained
Patent #7329824 for the design and development of a proprietary mail tracking and
inventory system.
